  • [Call for projects] Disposal of non-recyclable cardboard/plastic blister packs

CITEO would like to launch a call for projects to help marketers in all sectors to upgrade their cardboard/PET blister packs (PET shell glued to a cardboard box). Most of these packages are likely to be banned by PPWR in 2030.

To help its customers choose a recyclable alternative, Citeo has launched an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) of the recyclable alternatives identified:

  • Rigid cardboard packaging
  • Paper-based packaging
  • Plastic-based packaging
  • Moulded cellulose packaging
  • Bulk

What are the impacts of material switching ?

Who can apply?

The call for projects is aimed at Citeo and Adelphe customers, alone or accompanied by a manufacturer, who are likely to propose a project aimed at improving the recyclability of blister packs placed on the market. The proposal should preferably involve moving away from the PET/cardboard blister towards a recyclable alternative.

Timetable

  • Opening applications: June 4th, 2025
  • Feedback of the LCA (in French) : June 12th, from 2pm to 4pm
  • Closing applications: July 10th,2025 at 23:59
  • Response to individual winners before the end of July
