CITEO would like to launch a call for projects to help marketers in all sectors to upgrade their cardboard/PET blister packs (PET shell glued to a cardboard box). Most of these packages are likely to be banned by PPWR in 2030.
To help its customers choose a recyclable alternative, Citeo has launched an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) of the recyclable alternatives identified:
What are the impacts of material switching ?
Presentation support for the restitution of June 12, 2025 (EN) Rapport ISO ACV Blisters PET carton et alternatives (FR) Support de présentation de la restitution du 12 juin 2025 (FR) Blister packs and alternatives LCA Report ISO (EN)
Who can apply?
The call for projects is aimed at Citeo and Adelphe customers, alone or accompanied by a manufacturer, who are likely to propose a project aimed at improving the recyclability of blister packs placed on the market. The proposal should preferably involve moving away from the PET/cardboard blister towards a recyclable alternative.
